Description

A brief history of the area, was advised by Mike Caulfield on 21 March 2013.

The facilities were built (when - in 1970s?) by a group of Centenary farmers as a base for a youth education centre, along the lines of RIFA camp near Chirundu.

The place was used very actively in the 1980s and 1990s, but when commercial agriculture collapsed, it fell into neglect.

However, within the last 2 years it has been revived with considerable investment in new facilities and there has been some success in attracting schools and other groups.
