Description
This workshop took place in the area around the old Civeta Ranger camp, North of the CEC training centre in Gorongosa National Park. Instructors were present for four different natural history disciplines: Botany, Ornithology, Herpetology and Entomology. Twelve students were divided in core groups and prepared a small project in their subject that was presented at the CEC on the day after the field survey. Each group also spent half a day with each of the instructors of the other disciplines to acquire some basic knowledge about field techniques in those subjects.
