Description:
Sub-shrubby perennial, usually less than 1 m tall. Most parts covered in silvery-white hairs. Leaves imparipinnate with 6-9 pairs of leaflets and a terminal leaflet. Leaflets oblong to narrowly obovate, blue-green above, densely whitish velvety below. Flowers in axillary spike-like inflorescences, up to 12 cm long, reddish-pink; bracts and stalks covered in dense whitish hairs. Pods more or less spreading, subcylindrical, 14-21 mm long, densely whitish-orange velvety hairy and some darker hairs.
