Description:
|
Aromatic, sticky herb to 60 cm tall. Stems interruptedly winged. Leaves up to c. 10 × 3 cm, usually much smaller; lowermost obovate or elliptic, sessile or with a winged petiole, coarsely serrate, sometimes pinnatifid, membranous; cauline obovate, coarsely toothed to pinnatifid; base sessile with narrowly ovate auricles. Inflorescence a lax terminal panicle. Peduncles slender, straight, not arching over. Capitula c. 0.8 cm long. Outer female florets whitish with pinkish-purple tips; inner bisexual florets pinkish-purple. |
