Description: |
Densely branched, leafy parasitic shrub, up to 50 cm high. Leaves very variable, spathulate-oblanceolate to obovate-rotund, 15-40 mm long, sometimes 3-veined, base running down into a subpetiole; margin often yellowish or minutely whitish crenulate. Flowers in clusters of unisexual clusters of 1-3, sometimes with a central female flower subtended by 2 male flowers. Fruit sessile, ovoid, 5-6 mm high, densely tuberculate when young, orange and less tuberculate when ripe. |
