Description: |
Decumbent to suberect annual herb, 12–60 cm long. Leaves variable in shape, ovate to elliptic or oblong in outline, 1–6 cm long, with scattered grey hairs on both surfacea; margin normally with 1–5 coarse teeth on each side; lower leaves sometimes subentire or entire. Flowers clustered in leaf-axils, upper clusters male or mixed, lower female. |
Notes: | Although listed with a ? by Setshogo in SABONET report 37, 2005: 46 it is absent from Flora Zambesiaca and no specimens from Botswana are known to us so its occurrence in Botswana is highly unlikely. |
