Description:	Perennial climbing or trailing herb, growing from a woody rootstock. Stems more or less densely covered in brownish bristly hairs. leaves 3-foliolate, narrowly lanceolate to broadly ovate, 2.5 - 16 cm long, usually entire, rarely slightly lobed, almost hairless to densely velvety. Flowers pink to purple with a distinctly asymmetrical keel, twisted to the right and a swollen pocket on the left hand petal. Pods 8-14 cm long, linear cylindric, covered in brown bristly hairs; apex with a straight beak
