Mostly prostrate perennial herb, growing from a woody rootstock. Leaves linear-lanceolate, glaucous; margin serrate, often edged reddish-purple. Flowers in axillary clusters, yellow, c. 1 cm in diameter. Fruit a cylindric capsule, 2-3 cm, on a twisted or curved stalk. |
