Description: |
Annual or short-lived perennial herb or soft shrub up to 1 m. Leaves ovate with a cordate base, 3-7 cm long, green to grey-green, velvety with roughly toothed margins; petiole 1-3 cm long. Flowers in clusters, (sub)terminal at the stems and branches, bright yellow. Mericarps 8-12 but usually 10, c.7 mm long, birostrate at the apex with awns 3-4 mm long. |
