Description:	Annual herb, up to 1.5 m, often smaller. Leaves variable from nearly unlobed ovate or ovate hastate to deeply 3-5-lobed; lobes often pinnately incised again or with shallowly to deeply crenate-dentate margins. Flowers solitary, axillary, creamy-white, to pale yellow with a dark purple centre. Calyx with conspicuous purple veins, stellate hairy.
