Description:
Small woody shrublet c. 30 cm high with all parts greyish hairy. Leaves broadly oblong-elliptic, up to 3 cm long; margin coarsely crenate-dentate; petiole up to 1.3 cm long. Flowers in the upper leaf axils on peduncles c. 1 cm long. Epicalyx bracts broadly ovate, 5-7 mm long, somewhat cordate at the base. Sepals lanceolate, as long or slightly longer than the epicalyx. Petals yellow, broadly obovate, c. 6 mm long. Fruit ovoid c. 8 mm long, hairy.

Derivation of specific name: rehmannii: named after Anton Rehmann, 1840-1917, Polish botanist and collector
Habitat: In dry woodland, often with mopane.
