Description: |
Annual or perennial, erect or climbing herb 0.1-3 m tall. Tendrils present, up to 15 cm long. Leaves broadly ovate to almost circular in outline, 3-5-lobed, rarely simple, up to 13 × 13 cm., hairless or hairy, sometimes only below; lobes up to 8.5 × 3 cm, ovate, elliptic, lanceolate or obovate, margin entire or remotely toothed; petiole sometimes with a few glandular teeth at the apex. Stipules 3-15 mm. long. False stipules absent. Flowers solitary or 2 together, greenish-cream, bluish on the outer corona. Fruit an ellipsoid capsule, 1-1.8 cm long. |
