| Description: |
Erect annual or rarely perennial herb, up to 40cm. Leaves lanceolate or ovate-lanceolate, opposite along a 4-ridged stem. Flowers large for the genus, up to 4.5 cm in diameter, terminal, mostly solitary, white to pale yellow with an orange to orange-brown tinge. Fruit a small subspherical capsule. |
