Description: |
Perennial twining herb with milky sap. Stems up to 4 m or more, covered in soft hairs. Leaves heart-shaped, hairy, cordate at the base. Flowers in axillary pseudo-umbels on long peduncles, pendulous opening in the evening. Corolla creamy-white or greenish, sometimes tinged purple; lobes fringed with long spreading hairs. Fruit paired follicles, 5-7.5 cm long, erect, covered in recurved bristles. |
