Description: |
Perennial herb, growing from a tuberous rootstock. Stems prostrate or ascending, up to 50 cm long, densely white hairy. Leaves variable. Basal leaves often in a rosette, long-petiolate, lanceolate to linear, up to 8 cm long, entire or with 2 lateral teeth or distinct lobes. Leaves along the stems 2-6.5 cm long, usually subpalmately or pinnately 3-7 lobed; lobes linear to lanceolate, whitish hairy when young. Flowers solitary, axillary. Corolla narrowly funnel-shaped, 2.5-5 cm long, mauve to purple. Capsule spherical, hairless, straw-coloured. Seeds densely appressed pubescent. |
