Description:	Slender, somewhat straggling branched herb with 4-angled branches up to 40 cm long, sometimes rooting at the nodes. Leaves opposite, ovate-lanceolate, 12-20(30) mm long; margin crenate-serrate, sometimes thickened; petiole 0.5-3 mm long. Flowers axillary,solitary or 2-6 together. Calyx 5-6 mm long sparsely hairy, narrowly winged, more so in fruit. Corolla 10-12 mm long, white or pink, blue,purple or mauve. Capsule narrowly oblong-ellipsoid, 7-10 mm long.
