Erect annual herb, often slender and unbranched but may be much-branched up to 60 cm tall. Leaves linear-lanceolate; margins often revolute. Flowers in pairs at the nodes, whitish or yellowish green. Fruit a subspherical capsule, crowned with the triangular remains of the calyx lobes. Most parts of the plant papillose. |
