Description: |
Perennial herbs with annual prostrate or scandent, glabrous stems. Leaves usually deeply palmately 3-5-lobed, slightly rough on both surfaces, cordate at the base; margin with small teeth. Flowers in axillary clusters; male flowers on a long pedicel; female flowers sessile, cream to greenish-yellow. Fruit distinctly pedicellate, 14-28 mm long, conspicuously rostrate, glabrous, bright red when ripe except for the greenish apex. |
