Description: |
Bushy aromatic, glandular, annual herb to 35 cm tall, but often much less. Leaves sessile, linear, strap-shaped or narrowly sub-spathulate, up to 17 × 3 mm, 1-nerved. Capitula in axils of leaves, borne in crowded clusters and mixed with a mass of woolly-villous hairs. Involucres spherical, 2-3 mm in diameter. Phyllaries unequal in two rows; apex acuminate; margins ciliate. Outer florets female disk florets bisexual. Achenes narrowly turbinate. |
