Small shrub up to 1.5 m. Leaves linear. Capitula cylindric, arranged corymbosely at branch tips.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: kraussii: named after Christian Krauss (1812-1890) German scientist, traveller and collector in South Africa.

Worldwide distribution: Angola, Uganda, Tanzania, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho and South Africa.
