Description: |
Annual herb up to 50 cm high. Stems densely glandular pubescent. Leaves palmate with 5-9, linear, 1-3 cm long, often channeled above; petiole up to 2 cm long much shorter in upper leaves. Inflorescences in lax terminal racemes. Flowers, rose-pink to violet, normally without a yellow spot in the petals; stamens 6-9, purplish. Capsule 2-3.5 cm long, glandular pubescent. |
Notes: | Similar to Cleome hirta but generally with all parts smaller, flowers without a yellow mark in the petals and only 6-9 stamens. |
