Description:
|
Strong liane-like climber. Stem trunk-like, softly woody, grey-green, up to 50 cm in diameter. Tendrils up to 12 cm long, often breaking off and becoming spinescent. Leaves mostly simple, occasionally 3-foliolate, broadly ovate to almost round, 1 to 8 cm long, bluish-green with a single gland on the top of the petiole near the base of the leaf blade; margin entire. Flowers in clusters on very short lateral shoots, greenish. Fruit ellipsoid, leathery, smooth. |
