Description: |
Robust perennial, up to 2 m tall; rhizome creeping, woody 1─1.5 cm diameter; culm 77─153 cm long, 3-angled; leaves few, leaf blade 7─19 mm wide. Inflorescence simple to compound, primary branches 3─8, 2.7─12 cm long. Spikelet less than 1 mm across, in crowded clusters on elongated axis, sessile and at the end of primary and secondary branches. |
