Description: |
Shrub or small unarmed tree. Leaves spirally arranged, opposite, in fascicles, on short lateral spur-branchlets, linear to narrowly elliptic to obovate, 2-7 cm long, pale glossy green above, paler below, venation prominent, hairless; apex tapering, often with a hair-like point; margin entire or serrated. Flowers in axillary heads, white or green, c. 5 mm in diameter. Fruit spherical, ovoid or ellipsoid, c. 2 cm long, yellow, edible. |
